You can browse cafes without an account. Signing in enables private account sync through Supabase. We do not use advertising, analytics, or session replay.

Coffee Life Balance is operated under the MindPathLabs name. For private privacy, account, correction, or copyright requests, email mindpathbi@proton.me. Do not post personal information in public GitHub issues.
Your choices and information
- Browsing and location: Location permission is optional. Without it, you can browse by city or anywhere. The app uses your device location for proximity and navigation. It does not upload a continuous location history to our account database. Apple Maps, routing, and WeatherKit may process coordinates to provide their services. Opening Google Maps, Waze, Instagram, or a venue website transfers control to that service and its privacy policy.
- Sign-in: When you choose Google or Apple sign-in, the provider and Supabase process authentication. We receive an account ID and available email/name information. Apple may provide a private relay email. Declining sign-in leaves browsing available; account saving and sync require an account.
- Account data: Supabase stores your profile, saved and visited venues, check-ins and their timestamps, passport progress, taste preferences, collections, notes/tips, photos you choose to upload, trail progress, activity, rewards history, and settings. These records are associated with your account ID and support app functionality, not advertising. A check-in or visited venue identifies a specific location associated with you; check-ins also include a time, even though we do not upload a continuous GPS history.
- Photos and content: Upload only content you own or have permission to use. Photos and account notes are private to your account in the current app. Sharing a card or link through the device share sheet is your choice; the chosen recipient or service receives what you share. Coffee Walk links contain the ordered cafe stops. Your current GPS location is excluded by default; choosing to include a selected starting point exposes it to anyone with the link. Shared links can be forwarded. We do not host a public feed of user posts. Public posts, challenges, goals, announcements, and suitability explanations are published by authorized editors.
- Device storage: The app caches the cafe catalog and account data and pending edits locally for offline use. Account caches are separated by account. Signing out clears visible account state; protected local caches remain for your next sign-in. Deleting an account removes its local cache. Uninstalling removes the app's local storage.
- Notifications and Health: Reminders are optional local notifications. Public editorial announcements are available in an in-app inbox without notification permission. Remote push delivery is not enabled in this version. The app does not send marketing email. Check-ins do not record caffeine consumption or write guessed caffeine amounts to Apple Health. A legacy caffeine preference may remain in existing account settings; it does not upload Health samples.
This website and support email
Our public support and policy pages are hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub logs visitors' IP addresses for security purposes. These pages do not add analytics, advertising, session replay, cookies, or remote fonts. Only if you choose Remember preferences does the site save your appearance or language display preferences in your browser for later visits. Your choice to allow or decline that storage is also saved for 12 months to respect it; these values are not sent to us. Use Storage preferences in the footer to withdraw permission and delete saved display preferences, or clear this site's browser storage. If you email us, we receive your address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to answer your request and keep records needed to handle it. Proton processes this correspondence as our email provider under its privacy policy. Send only information needed for your request; never send passwords or sign-in codes. Contact us about access, correction, or deletion of support correspondence.
Purposes, recipients, and transfers
Taste preferences you choose to save are associated with your account and synced through Supabase. The app uses these preferences to personalize cafe match scores and recommendation ranking. This product personalization is optional; browsing remains available without a saved taste profile. It is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking.
We use information to authenticate you, sync your own account across devices, restore offline edits, and provide cafe discovery and passport features. Supabase processes hosted account data and photos for us; Apple and your chosen sign-in/navigation provider process requests to their services. Hosting and service processing may occur outside Israel. Their own privacy terms also apply. We do not sell your data or use it for cross-app advertising or tracking.
Retention and deletion
Account data is retained while you keep an account. In Settings, choose Delete account to remove your authentication account, associated account records, uploaded photos, and local account cache. This is different from signing out or uninstalling, which does not delete hosted data. The app reports deletion failure rather than claiming an unsuccessful deletion completed. Service-provider backups and security records can have separate retention periods; contact us with questions about those records.
Access and correction
You can view or edit supported account information in the app. You may request access, correction, or deletion through the contact above. We may verify account ownership before acting. Providing information and permissions is voluntary, subject to the feature consequences described above.
Children
The app is a general-audience cafe guide and is not intended for children under 13. We do not seek personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us privately so we can investigate and remove it where required.
